What is nopcart

nopcart is a javascript shopping cart scrit which is very easy to handle. In many cases such a tool is much better than a full featured e-commerce system. This script especially is the right choice for small businesses who like to have orders placed by mail. nopcart actually does include other payment gateways (e.g. LinkPoint, Authorize.net, …) but I won’t describe it here.

So, how does the shopping cart work:

The client adds products to his shopping cart. If he likes to order the products, he fills out a form which is sent to the owner. Afterward the payment and shipping is handled by contacting the customer directly (by mail or phone).

As your products can be placed anywhere on a page, nopcart is very flexible in the design you choose. Of course this system isn’t the best alternative for everyone but if you like to add a simple shop to your RapidWeaver site you really should have a look on it.
