The “old” image admin utilities don’t work with RW5 anymore. There is a new project which should support all themes with all RW versions: Rapid Themer. Try it out: http://www.rapid-ideas.com/rapidthemer/

Whenever I open the Image Admin Utility, I get the message “Apple Script Error: Can’t make current application into type <>. (-1700). The image thumbs are all empty and when I add my own, they do not appear in the Rapid Weaver Style selection. How do I make this work?

Hm, when you remove the prefs file, theme digger should act as it is freshly installed. Will it always hang at the third theme? I assume that there is something wrong with a theme (maybe some cryptographic strings?) so it would be great if you could further try to find out what specific theme throws the error.
btw: does it work fine when you remove all themes for testing or does it hang too?

Oh and I even tried to remove that apples_to_oranges theme out, remove the pref file and restart ThemeDigger but got the same error in console.

It hangs up on the apples_to_oranges theme.

Console log says this:
6/8/11 7:50:52 AM ThemeDigger[10403] *** -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (-1 (or possibly larger)) beyond bounds (0)

Nope, it still just loads up the first three themes and then spins.
