Corners Theme

Because it is important

This Theme from Rapid Ideas has something new: fix positioned PNG-Images in every corner of the browser window. As PNG Images are used, you can create nice effects with transparency (e.g. Drop Shadows). With the help of a javascript file, also the PNG Images can be rendered well by IE/Win. With the huge amount of theme variations and the easy way to include your own images, you can build a new design in just a few minutes. And to give you some more possibilities I have added 30 different header images to this pack.

The features in detail

Colors

New in RapidWeaver 3.6

Since RapidWeaver 3.6 you can use custom colors by choosing them with the standard OSX color picker and adjust almost any part of the layout (navbar, body, footer, sidebar, ...). Sure that I have reworked the theme from ground up to support this new really cool feature

Custom Images

Layout with images

You can choose up to 5 different header images in JPG Format and a PNG Image in each corner of the browser window. These corner images are fixed so even when the user scrolls the window, the corner images will stay at their place. Also as PNG images are used, you can style them with transparency and drop shadows for nice effects.

Greybox included

greybox logo

Ever wanted to have a cool AJAX effect on your site but it was too difficult to make it work? With the OHM theme it is really easy as the greybox project is preinstalled! You probably already have seen the greybox in action. It is used widely on this site to show you the images in full screen mode. The greybox system is similar to the lightbox one, except you not only are able to open images in a translucent layer but whole websites. So you can show additional information to the user without opening a new window or redirecting him to another site - and this means: he will stay longer on your site!

As you view this content you already have seen how greybox works, as this whole page is displayed in a greybox layer. Other examples can be found on this site when choosing to view the online examples or even by adding a theme in the shopping cart.

If you want to find more information about greybox or like to see more examples, you can visit the project's homepage at http://www.orangoo.com/labs/GreyBox/

30 Header images included

Within this package you will also find 30 header images you can choose to make your site unique. Sure, it is also really easy to include your own ones. Click on the image to view some of them.

Illustrator Template File

With the theme you will also get an illustrator template file with some corner images. You can use it to fill them with your own content, as including your own photos on the polaroids, or writing your own slogan on the corner banner.

Create boxes in the sidebar the easy way

With the corners theme it is really easy to build sidebar boxes. You only need to write the box title in a h1-tag and follow it by a p-tag. Sure, you can also do that by the formatting menu

Sure, you can choose what font- and background-color to use for the box title and the box content

Automatic Image Resizing

This really cool feature is implemented in most modern browsers: When the browser window is resized the image in your content is also resized. So your visitors will not get too small or big images on their screen. They will fit perfectly no matter which screen size they have.

Font Families

In the corners theme you can choose between 6 different font families. 3 of them are sans-serif, 2 are serif fonts and 1 is a monotype font.

Where to put the sidebar?

Do you need a sidebar? Where should it be placed? Just one click and the sidebar will be repositioned to the left or right side - or you can also choose to have no sidebar at all.

Easy manage your own custom header images with the CIA utility

CIA view

Included with the theme you will find a nice little utility to easily manage your own custom header images. Just choose the images you want to be displayed in the header and the corners and click on Place. The Corners Image Admin Utility will do the rest.
