Blendit theme
Blendit is Splendid
This latest theme of RapidIdeas uses a really cool css feature: transparency. It is not built with png files which only works in IE/Win with some javascript hacks. Also the navbar is fixed on top of the page and will not scroll. So your website visitors allways have it in full view for easy navigation. You have also the possibility to choose between many options including colors, sidebar placement, transparency values, font families and more. See below for the full list.
The features
Here is a quick summary of what you will find in this theme:

The features in detail
Transparency
You can choose different transparency values between 50%-100% (where 100% means opaque) for the navigation bar.
Colors
New in RapidWeaver 3.6
Since RapidWeaver 3.6 you can use custom colors by choosing them with the standard OSX color picker and adjust almost any part of the layout (navbar, body, footer, sidebar, ...). Sure that I have reworked the theme from ground up to support this new really cool feature
Header Images
There are five header images included in the blendit theme, but with the Blendit Image Admin Utility it is totally easy to replace them with your own ones. You even have to care about your image size because they will automatically adjusted to the header size.
Font Families
In the Blendit theme you can choose between 5 different font families. 3 of them are sans-serif, 1 is a serif font and 1 a monotype.
A cool header effect
I have implemented a absolutly stunning header font effect in the blendit theme: When you enable it, the site title and slogan will overlay with a nice transparency effect the header image. Here are two screenshot to show you the effect, the first without, the second with the effect:
Fixed Navigation Bar
The blendit theme implements a fixed navigation bar at the top of the browser window. So your visitors will allways be able to access the navigation easily. It also looks really cool when you scroll the content.
Greybox included
Ever wanted to have a cool AJAX effect on your site but it was too difficult to make it work? With the OHM theme it is really easy as the greybox project is preinstalled! You probably already have seen the greybox in action. It is used widely on this site to show you the images in full screen mode. The greybox system is similar to the lightbox one, except you not only are able to open images in a translucent layer but whole websites. So you can show additional information to the user without opening a new window or redirecting him to another site - and this means: he will stay longer on your site!
As you view this content you already have seen how greybox works, as this whole page is displayed in a greybox layer. Other examples can be found on this site when choosing to view the online examples or even by adding a theme in the shopping cart.

If something should not work well, you can get free online support from me. You can contact me and I will give you help making the best out of this template. I will probably also make some changes to the design itself, all for free.
Limitations
Following are some know limitations of the blendit theme:
- Please mention that it was not possible to write a stylesheet that validates. If this is important to you, this theme is nothing. But as long as IE/Win is buggy and some advanced features only work with IE-proprietary code, we have to live with it.
- Opera 8 is not fully supported: Opera 8 can't yet display transparencies. Also there is a displace of the sub-navigation. In Opera 9 the described bugs and limitations are fixed. Keep also in mind that at the moment only about 0.5% of all website visitors use that browser (as stated by Upsdell Browser Stats).
